Spectacle Quilt Blocks
Again we are giving you 2 months to make your Blocks for Good. We are running Block lotto every 3 months, so have decided to give extra time here.
Our block this time uses 2 fabrics. If you like, you can make them in pairs, alternating fabric placement. Make as many blocks as you like.
Faith Jones, of Fresh Lemons Quilts, designed this quilt for Project Linus. Get her free pattern over at Bernina's We All Sew Blog.
Are you ready?
The colour palette...
We are not using a background color.
For each block, choose 2 of these colours.
Try and aim for some contrast between the 2 fabrics.
If using solids, please try and pair it with a print.
These blocks will go into our Community Giving Program, to be made into quilts.

Blocks will be collected at Calgary MQG March and April meetings.

Cut a 12" square into the following three strips:
- 2" (or 2" and a bit for finished block trimming later),
- 5", and
- 4.5" (or 4.5" and a bit for finished block trimming later).
"A bit" could be 1/4" roughly. Taking advantage of the "bits" would use the entire 12" on one side. …
